Topiary (TaCL) is the creative studio practice of Neesh Chaudhary, a designer based in New York.
As a software designer, systems thinker, and brand designer, she places emphasis on designing for emergence; identities and interfaces that develop their own internal logic rather than being fixed into place. Her motivation for the practice is to explore what it means to work alongside generative materials: AI, code, and process as active collaborators that shape the work as much as she does. This can be observed through her project, FWB FEST, where a visual identity built entirely through emotive prompting demonstrated that the design process itself could be made as expressive as the output.
