C4 is a browser-native experiment in music, memory, and metadata—part collectible, part composition, part speculative software. This was the fourth songwriting experiment from Songcamp.

I designed the interface and animations for a custom web app at app.song.camp. Users could mint blank CDs, listen to unreleased tracks, write to disc, and explore their own inventories alongside the larger C4 collection.

Built in collaboration with Songcamp Studio, the final experience is a skeuomorphic nod to the compact disc—rendered with subtle motion and a stripped-down logic meant to feel equally physical and net-native. Generative CD artwork by reelaesthete
